ISO 12647-2 process standard offset printing ‚This is far more red than the proof we received before!’ To avoid unpleasant surprises like this for clients as well as for the printing house in the future, we introduced a quality assurance tool which is instantly available and metrologically comprehensible for everybody. Since 2006 we have been the first printing house in Vienna which has been allowed to carry the ISO 12647-2 process standard offset printing certificate. By special means and controls we can ensure the quality of the production from pre-press to the final print product. Intermediate and final results of the production will have a foreseeable coloring. With this method the proof represents the exact coloring of the final product and you can unconditionally rely on the quality of your printing product. With the introduction of this standard we have an instrument to ensure top quality on a permanent basis. Only when you can measure quality, you can correct it if necessary or further optimize it.
