Environmental label

In November 2009 our printing house was awarded with the Austrian Environmental Label – for offset printing as well as for electrophotographic digital printing. Products carrying this label have to meet a range of environmental criteria and prove their compliance with these criteria through an independent assessment report. Only proven eco-friendly products with adequate usability and quality receive this distinction. By adding this label to print products we can publicly display its positive aspects.

We only use paper types which carry a domestic or international environmental label (such as the Austrian Environmental Label, ‘Blauer Engel’, ‘Schwan’ or the European Environmental Label). The materials used for the printing process have to be toxicologically safe for humans as well as for the environment and they are subject to quantitative and qualitative restrictions. The binding and finishing of the printed product must allow optimal utilization.

With this environmental label, the Jentzsch printing house combines a high environmental standard with quality and product safety.
