As part of our renewal audits of the Austrian Ecolabel

we were now also certified according to the EU Ecolabel (the “EU Flower”)!

The EU Ecolabel helps you identify products and services that have a reduced environmental impact throughout their life cycle, from the extraction of raw material through to production, use and disposal. Recognised throughout Europe, EU Ecolabel is a voluntary label promoting environmental excellence which can be trusted. From the raw materials to manufacturing, packaging, distribution and disposal, EU Ecolabel products are evaluated by independent experts to ensure they meet criteria that reduce their environmental impact. The EU Ecolabel is an easy way to make an informed choice about the products you’re buying.

Since 2008 you have already the possibility to print products with which are certified with the Austrian Ecolabel and therefore produce your printing items as sustainable as possible. End of last year we underwent the audit – with success! And so we are certified for the next five years according to the Austrian Ecolabel. But that´s not all: As one of the leading eco-friendly printing companies in Austria, we are now even awareded with the European Ecolabel – the EU Ecolabel, also known as “EU Flower”. The EU Ecolabel is a transboundary environmental seal of approval, which serves as a uniform label for environmentally friendly products and services in the common European market. It was launched in 1992 by the European Commission. We are therefore pleased to offer you even more environmentally friendly print products! Our ecobalance 2012

In 2012, the printing Jentzsch could increase the use of environmentally friendly papers and also save more CO2 than in 2011. A life cycle assessment, which gives hope that the trend towards environmentally sustainable print production will continue.

Anyone can contribute to the environment and climate, with large and small steps. We will support you.
Use our expertise to produce your printed materials as ecologically as possible. We look forward to sharing our expertise with you.

It is a challenge as well as an inspiration for us here at Jentzsch to keep an eye on our economic and ecological future. We are the pioneers for climate-neutral printing on the Austrian market. We were the first printing house to be accredited with the “Print CO2 tested” certificate and we were also the first to receive simultaneously the certificates FSC® and PEFCtm from the Austrian certification authority. In September 2009, we were presented with the “Austrian Environmental Label” award from the Austrian government. We are aware of our social, economic and ecological responsibilities in our global community. Therefore we continue to extend our efforts to influence the market with its ecological and climatic problems in a positive way.

We are a guarantee for innovation and quality. Due to our FSC®, PEFCtm, “Print CO2 tested” and “Austrian Environmental Label” certifications, we can provide the opportunity to set ecological milestones for the production of print materials.
